Design Conjecture: Collapsible Grocery Cart

Background:

Many elders struggle with maneuverability in the grocery store, loading their groceries in the car, and unloading them into the house because the weight and loss of senses can be an extensive workload on their bodies and minds. So the problem I tried to address here was how to personalize the shopping cart in the store but transform it into a holder for the groceries inside the car once they finish shopping. Providing that sense of confidence and agency back into their shopping experience while also tackling the need to redesign the cart to fit users as they age is an interesting concept I would like to develop further and understand moving forward in this project.

My conjecture consists of a more canvas-based material for lightweight maneuverability and deployable wheels to create a dynamic shift between cart and carrier in the vehicle to later carry into the house all in one go rather than multiple trips. The holding railing is extendable to allow different heights to use the product functionally, and it has side holders so you can grab the cart like a grocery bag.
