Design Conjecture: Repurposed Fabrics

The idea here is to take fabrics that may have some historical ties or look similar to the fabrics used on the original Wright brother airplanes and create separate spaces from them. The goal would be to have a base made of wood or another material and focus on how the curtains can move around the space. If the base is larger and has more squares, there are more opportunities and ways to make “working rooms.”

There is more to be detailed in this type of design because there is also the aspect of shading. Using wooden slats that match the base, the sun can be kept out at certain angles. The aspect of the curtains could also be applied to the top for shading, some sort of pulley system to move the shade curtains where the user would like them.
