My conjecture is to create a tool that would assist persons with hand impairments open doors using door knobs. Many disabled people struggle with the act of gripping and turning the knob, so this non-permanent solution would allow them to use the strength of their arm and shoulder to pull the knob down and open the door. The item would be simple to install, non-intrusive, and even multi-purposeful, doubling as a hook for garments or bags. Depending on the attachment feature, this could also be a mobile tool that could be taken along with the user for help outside the home.
