Schools and classrooms are specifically designed with learning in mind. However, the home is not. In the midst of COVID-19 and students having to work at home, it is much more difficult for them to be productive and get their work done. There are many contributing factors, one of them being the built environment that they are working in.

The Thought Bubble is a space-saving, pop-up workspace that is meant to facilitate learning in any environment. The student can have a quiet, designated study space without having to have a spare room in the house. If needed, the booth can be folded up and put against a wall to have more space in the house for after-school activities.

The space limits distracting noises and stimuli, but is large enough that it doesn’t feel cramped. There is a well-lit desk to work at, and a form fitting chair specifically designed for learning. Above the desk is storage space that helps the student stay organized and keeps the desk clean and ready to work on. The magnetic white board walls serve as an extended workspace as well as an analog stimulus for students on the computer all day. It also provides an opportunity for the child to personalize their space and display their hard work!
