“Huntington has deep roots in Ohio” and MybLINp is the next step in furthering this “commitment” to Ohio (ClevelandBrowns.com, 2024). MybLINp is here to “give back to the community and focus on an education” by supporting the local sporting organizations across the state (ClevelandBrowns.com, 2024). In partnership with Goodyear blimps who have a national hangar in Suffield, Ohio. It is home to “Wingfoot Lake” which “is the oldest airship facility and one of the oldest active aircraft bases in the world” which brings great pride to many Ohioans (Visit an airship base).
The goal of this partnership is to give “a chance for everyday fans across the world to have a real impact when it comes to supporting the NIL efforts for” student athletes (Hoefling, 2024). The MybLINp will be set across the state to fly over collegiate sporting events prompting fans to scan the ‘larger than life’ QR code which will prompt them to the Huntington Student Fund page. This is where fans will be able to ‘fund’ athletes that are partnered with Huntington.
This conjecture will do wonders in giving players the opportunity to “earn money that they wouldn’t be able to get from NIL deals” (Hoefling, 2024). The application allows “athletes to enjoy peace of mind” with little effort needed from their end (Yahoo!, 2024). Athletes can focus on academics and athletics and Huntington will deal with the rest.
