Web3 and NFTs give new utilities as emerging technology, but who’s to say that it won’t work against us? Block-chain being immature gives room for speculation and interesting discussion on how it might be used. NFT as punishment is a repressive idea. However, it also conveys the idea that NFTs can be more than encrypted works of digital art. They can be part of our social identity, as that is the most important utility of the NFT.
