The future of grocery transportation is not the car.
Keeping your groceries in a hot car, is dangerous, especially the trunk with a lack of airflow. So, what if the future of transporting your groceries doesn’t directly relate to the shoppers’ vehicles? Is there another system that could more readily benefit the safety of food transportation? Combining drone technology with refrigeration creates a solution for transporting groceries safely.
A big problem with this concept is the size of the drone. It would need to be very powerful to be able to fly a refrigerated box around. Safety would be another concern. Plus the idea of sustainability, repair, etc. But, aspects of this design could be interesting. Considering the concept of an individual autonomous transporting system for groceries might have some importance.
