The proposal suggests a modular bus stop that is equipped with heat and motion sensors, as well as IOT sensors that allow for scalability. The bus stop also includes public restrooms and vending machines for the convenience of its users. What sets this bus stop apart is its unique feature of holographic projection, which displays projections from nearby bus stops. This can make users feel less isolated, particularly those who may be travelling alone at night.
I found the idea of using holographic projection for public safety very appealing. Even though I won’t be moving forward with this specific project, I am inclined toward the potential of this technology to enhance public safety through projection.
