Analysis:
Healey does a great job outlining the benfits of sex education as well as offering three key rules to hold onto for parents when having conversations about sex that may feel awkward. However, my main reasoning for including this video is her mentioning of the fact that sez education should not be a one-off thing, but rather a series of conversations, and education. She specifically talks about remembering having one lesson in school and then she was off to face the world. This made me think about how sex education can and possibly should be tailored to grow with a person, instead of being one lesson, product, curriculum, etc., how can we design an intervention that adapts to a changing ecosystem?
