This idea avoids the problem of using precise gripping capabilities while using scissors. The motion of the wrist mimics the motion of opening and closing scissors. Using that natural connection, this product would stabilize the scissors, wrapping the base around the wrist for support and using an easy-to-clasp palm paddle to push the two blades together. Rethinking what an item is “supposed” to look like allows this idea to show a new way of using certain strengths to the user’s advantage.
