“Why It’s Socially Responsible To “Call Out” Habitual Distracted Drivers. Because people took action, Ms. Beall’s life may have been saved. The lives of other drivers were probably saved too. Taking fact action was the right thing to do. Turning the other way and ignoring this situation just wasn’t an option for some of the people watching.”
My Take: This is a solution that is solely based off of people stepping up and speaking their opinions on what the right thing to do is. Instead of utilizing new technology, applications, or products, this proposal only involves communities fighting against distracted driving. Drunk driving cases have shrunk in recent years, and communities that work together to combat it can take a certain amount of responsibility for that.
