“You won’t find a more versatile personal carry tool than the Wellz multi-function tool, featuring a foldable, light-weight yet high-strength aluminum design. This forcible entry tool fits into a responder’s pocket.”
“The only thing missing is something to flip hamburgers… LOL No, really an addition to tighten hose coupling.”- Video Comment from “Doc Ele”
Mitch: While a commentator made a joke about a spatula feature being added, they immediatley added a very real suggestion for still further functionality in an already multifunctional device. The seemingly universal desire of firefighters for ever smaller, lighter, and ever more versitile/multifunction tools is abundantly clear. The motivation behind this seemingly universal desire is equally abundantly clear; when you have to carry every tool you might need with you into a chaotic and dangerous environment you attempt to take everything you might possibly need with you as leaving it on the truck could very well have deadly consequences. The issue is that these firefighters already wear around 75lbs of gear, not including tools. Additionally most tools are still carried by hand, further reducing the number of tools that can be carried. When every tool matters you want one that performs the role of as many as possible.
