Design Conjecture: Sub-Lug

This idea came from seeing people online using their frunk space for luggage and bags. I then found an article talking about how when companies make branded merchandise, how it helps the business not just by free publicity but because it creates community where customers can connect with one another as well as people from the company (Monday Merch 2023). I think that this product would work well because it would supply owners with a durable and branded suitcase and it would fit right into your frunk and take up no additional space. The luggage would fit nicely in the floor on the frunk to complete the look and make it more complete. Although you could also take the luggage out to allow for more space as well. Around the edge of the opening would be a type of cushion to prevent from any sliding.

Moving forward I think it would be worth looking in to other types of luggage maybe closer to bags that could supply similar results, and look more trendy with the logos to appear to more people. I think that this could just be scratching the surface on possibilities with having more built in objects that users would need in their daily routine, and have the possibility of repping the brand if the objects are simple enough to be used often. Thinking about how we have to make sure we have everything before we leave the house but maybe with this model most of the things you need would be objects that were part of the car and you could take and put back, like maybe a company makes a laptop/iPad that is also the center console of their vehicle that can be removed. Its a fun idea to think how far this could go.
