The Cyberfrunk would be an updated front end on Electric Vehicles, to give it a more futuristic. Some new features in this art conjecture would include an extra light bar across the front, a sleek, light up logo handle to pull down the front grill like a tailgate. The light bar can continue to shine to light up the ground below. Inside the frunk would be LED bars recessed into the wall lining. The locations of the lights would be in areas that allow for more ambient lighting as well as direct lighting with ways to customize for brightness and color.
This idea came mostly when I thought about how important headlights were and it lead me to find how essential lighting is to the spaces and is one of the most important features when designing a space and that getting the right lighting can really transform space (Jones 2016). I then took this idea and thought about adding more lights to the frunk but when I read about cyberpunk and the lighting used in that style, I read that we are becoming closer to a cyberpunk world including the styling(Global Data Thematic Intelligence 2024), which led me to appreciate that the style might be able to be used to predict where automotive style might be going in the future. This LED styling added to the frunk would allow for a more cyberpunk type style which would be a jump in trends that people would get excited for. The extra lights would also help with overall visibility both in the frunk and outside with the light bar on the front tailgate facing down. This would light up the ground around you and allow for a small work bench that would be lit up from the LEDs inside.
Other design choices that played a roll in this conjecture included ideas gathered from other inspirations from other lit reviews in different categories.
