Design Conjecture:Daily Dime

The Daily Dime financial education app is strongly influenced by DuoLingo. Using gamification tactics like streaks, badges, and achievements, players would be encouraged to return every day to play. The hope would be that players could learn a little bit about finance every day. So that when they encounter these topics in their own life it’s words and concepts they recognize. However, if this game was an extension of a bank would it attract players? Would people even be interested in playing? This concept offers the idea of presenting financial lessons in a short bite-sized format. In a way that is not intimidating but rather easy to understand. A possible concern would be where these lessons were being sourced from. You could run into legal issues if a player takes the advice from the game and tries to apply it in the real world and ends up losing money. Could the app be liable for that?
