Banking Website should focus on the simplicity and ease of use. In this article, we will explore the important concepts needed to design an effective Banking web UI. Following are the concepts that are used to design Banking Web UI.

Negative Spaces:

By using negative spaces in the design we can divert the focus of the users to the important elements. The objects/images in the website should be separated and important sections must be highlighted.

Grid System:

By using grids we can align all the components present in the design uniformly. Grids are an important part to decide size and positioning of various components.

Neuromorphic Design:

A design approach in which we mimic real-world elements in the design. Using Shadows for buttons gives them a 3D look and using real-world icons like eye icons for views.

Typography:

Font selection and size is very important as it is a Banking website, which offers payment services so font should be formal and visible to the users, and it should remain consistent throughout the design.

Alignment:

Alignment should be uniform with a visually appealing. In the navigation bar there should be links of important pages, services, Customer support, FAQ’s. In the footer of website, all the links and details of company. Alignment of each image and text is very important as it is the main page from users side. It should offer a clean and clear look for easy navigation and usage.

By using design principles and concepts we can improve our UI design of the website according to user needs. If the design principles used and implemented in right way then we can get a modern and good UI. Selecting right colors, fonts and buttons can help us design great UI. (GeeksforGeeks, 2024).

I am sure it is clear why I’d look into the UI design of a banking website. With technology emerging as a key contributor to customer service, self-service options are predominantly digital. Looking into some of the specific UI concepts that a bank might use to structure their website is valuable in seeing what I may need to consider depending on the path I take down the road with the production of my project. While I’m quite certain all of these concepts are not strictly for banking websites, the examples that the article gives for how and where you may see each of these concepts in a banking website is helpful. Relating this back to customer service, I feel like effectively structuring a website to make it easier to read and navigate can be considered a service to the customer. They may not be speaking to a representative or trying to resolve an issue they’ve experienced, but simply going through the website could definitely affect their thoughts on the company’s service. I definitely believe that the way a company presents their information will help the customer have an effective and smooth experience looking for what they need, thus servicing them.
