Conjecture: Root Chute

The Root Chute is an underground network of tunnels that allow for easy casualty transport during a mass casualty. The entrance is an exposed tree root set at waist height that allows for easy access of the patients. The other side of the chute opens up to an emergency vehicle that will then transport the patients to safety. This root network eliminates the physical labor of transporting mass casualties. It cuts the work down for the military responders and allows them to focus on treating more severe injuries rather than having to also focus on transporting people out of the situation.

Analysis

This is a good idea in theory if it weren’t so complicated. I think its a good conjecture regarding the elimination of physical labor to transport people out of a mass casualty zone. Additionally, this doesn’t just have to be for a mass casualty scenario. If people have to escape danger it can be used as a method of evacuation.
