Summary
Last time we saw Altuzarra, they transported us to the desert with their collection inspired by Don Juan and Desert Solitaire, pulling inspiration from Southeastern Utah. Altuzarra has now left the starry skies of Utah and traveled to the icy winds of the tundra.
Analysis
I’ve learned that the military is almost clearing house when it comes to what gear and supplies we use in the Middle East. Everything is changing because the landscape in Russia and other European countries is so different that what we used to use may not even be useful. The article gave me insight into something as simple as fashion being able to manipulate the base foundations of what clothes may look like in different conditions. It Leads me to question what exactly our military is changing and how they’re going about changing something as basic as uniforms to be conditioned for the weather within a place like Russia. Furthermore, it leads me down a road of, do they change their man-to-man transport for places of cold conditions. I feel there is an opportunity to explore transforming litters to be weather acclimate as well as their gear and weapons.
