Travelling with kids is one of those things that sounds nice in theory, but can quickly turn to the stuff of nightmares if you’re ill-prepared. We’ve put together 15 car accessories that will make travelling with kids in tow easy-peasy. We all know the benefits of DVD players, satellite navigation systems and phone chargers in a car, but these gadgets will keep kids organized, comfy and entertained.
- Buckle Me Up

How many times do you get in the car, drive around the corner, realise you’ve forgotten something and have to turn around? 5. iPad Headrest Mount

This endearingly written article allows us as designers to see what solutions our secondary target audience is coming up with in order to make driving in the car with their children easier and more organized, as well as value propositions and prices for each product. These products, even though it’s a short list, can help us understand some common problems that parents and caregivers might have with their backseat passengers and the modifications they are making at the moment. Looking at current solutions can allow us to come up with new, more disruptive solutions to common problems and to design experiences that adequately address these small grievances, which if done well, can evolve into a concept that is both engaging for younger audiences, and also less troublesome for their parents.
