What they learned about their son and autism turned into&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.zenaviv.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Zenaviv<\/a>, a company which sells artwork created by people on the autism spectrum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One day, when Sandhya was painting, something she did as a hobby, Himal grabbed her paintbrush and began dabbing at the canvas. From there, Bikmal and Sandhya decided to help Himal pursue painting. They approached an art teacher for guidance, and within about three months, Himal\u2019s painting skills had improved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bikmal told The Mighty he hopes Zenaviv provides another way for those on the spectrum to live a productive and fulfilling life. Having helped foster his son\u2019s love of art, Bikmal said he encourages other parents to help their children find their talents and creative outlets. \u201cLook for clues from your child,\u201d he said. \u201cLook for clues from your child, and pursue them.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/themighty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/xColorful-Macaw-1-601x750.gif.pagespeed.ic.Mr1cnV2MZc.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"353\" height=\"440\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><em>This article goes to show that Autism is not a barrier to participating in things that typical humans do.
