During the month of&nbsp;March,&nbsp;students in the area get pledges to donate based on the amount of time that they practice&nbsp;their instruments. At the end of the month,&nbsp;the&nbsp;students put on a recital to display their hard work.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These donations go to\u00a0local\u00a0food pantries in the area.\u00a0I am a big fan of this idea because it incorporates people of all ages to work towards\u00a0improving food insecurity in their local area.
