Customers who select the &#8220;Kiosk PickUp&#8221; option will be offered two-hour time slots during which to pick up their groceries. When customers arrive at the kiosk, they scan a code on their phone and their groceries are robotically delivered to the front of the unit for pickup. The unit features two temperature zones \u2014 regular and deep freeze. A customer&#8217;s order can be stored in two different zones and still be delivered in the same console for pick up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We are supercharging our digital and omnichannel offerings to serve customers however they want, whenever they want,&#8221; Chris Rupp, EVP, and chief customer and digital officer at Albertsons Companies said in the release. <strong>&#8220;This innovative and contactless PickUp kiosk makes it even easier for customers to shop with us in a way that is convenient for them.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Cleveron 501\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/AYhpbdMfKGU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Analysis:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Albertsons Companies has installed a new advancement in grocery shopping with their contactless grocery pick up kiosks. I believe that these kiosks will allow customers to skip the hassle and time it takes to get their grocery s, by being able to pick up their groceries at a designated time with the use of their mobile device.
